Aly is an editor, copywriter, and publishing professional with over 16 years of experience in commissioning, writing, editing, managing, and publishing content.
In October 2021, she launched Alyiteration Editorial, an editorial, marketing, and brand development business. From novels, short stories, and poetry collections to cookbooks, textbooks, and tech websites, she transitions quickly between different media and product types to tell the most effective and attention-grabbing stories for diverse, global brands and audiences. While she works across a wide variety of subjects, she specializes in content focused on food, travel and leisure, relationships, psychology, the arts, and social sciences. In the health and nutrition space, her focus centers on mental health, gut health, and promoting safe, inclusive, and healthaffirming eating habits.
Before starting AlyIteration Editorial, Aly worked in editorial and marketing roles at SAGE Publishing, Narrative Magazine, Phaidon Press, and Red Hen Press, all while writing feature articles and her own fiction for print and digital media. She holds an MA in Publishing from University College London and a BA in Creative Writing and Psychology from the University of Southern California (during which she also studied for several terms at New College, Oxford). Outside of writing and editing, she moonlights as a pastry chef, an equestrian, and a Kpop and Latin dance enthusiast.
